"Our experience with Miami Trailer was absolutely enjoyable"
In early spring of 2010 my brother and I decided to open a new business - a concession trailer with a theme of authentic Mexican cuisine. In our local Seattle area we couldn’t find what we were looking for so we started researching nationwide for places that manufacture these types of trailers and we were lucky to find Miami Trailer, across the Country, to be exact 3,400 miles away from us, in Miami. After talking to Susan and Alan, the owners, we started developing the plans to meet all of our needs and requirements that our home State demands. Not only did Miami Trailer make sure that all of the equipment in the unit was up to date but they also made sure that the unit was in complete accordance with all guidelines that Labor and Industries (L&I) calls for, this was done in advance of completing the unit so there were no surprises after bringing the unit home, that’s right, across 13 States, 3,400 miles and a six day road trip, we brought the trailer to Seattle from Miami. Our experience with Miami Trailer was absolutely enjoyable, they are the most HONEST and friendly people you will meet in the business. They made it very easy for us and worked with us until the last minute and beyond. I will not hesitate for a second to work with them in the future whenever we need another concession trailer.

Hello Susan & Alan, I thank you for a great experience I had when purchasing my concession truck. It was worth the trip traveling from Connecticut to Florida! (Even in the heat!) Thank you for answering hundreds of questions; and you did it all with a good attitude. As I was traveling back to Connecticut in my concession truck I ran into some unforeseen problems; to put the icing on the cake, you guys were right there to take care of the situation without hesitating. Building my Food Truck with Miami Trailer was a wonderful experience!
After years of working for others, I decided to open a business of my own. When several other plans did not work out, I thought about doing a food Truck. My only prior experience in the food Service Industry had been, Catering Home Made Baked Goods, Managing my Family Grocery Store and a passion for cooking and eating good food.
I searched all over the U.S.A. via the Internet for a truck that would be right for my business. The problems that I found with existing Food Trucks for Sale, was that, for the asking prices, they just were not exactly what I needed for my target market. On the other hand, representatives for these companies seemed more interested in making a quick sale, requiring huge deposits at prices exceeding my budget.
After more searching I came across Miami Trailer & Equipment. With several quotations already in hand, we discussed the things I really needed in a Food Truck, then came up with a quote that was with in my budget.
During my Truck building process, professionalism, good communication and attention to detail were my most memorable things about Miami Trailer & Equipment. Several weeks later when I finally saw my truck I was impressed with the high level of craftsmanship along with the use of quality materials and equipment.
When my Food Truck was delivered people immediately started coming to it wanting to buy food or calling to ask where we would be located.
Building my Food Truck with Miami Trailer was a wonderful experience which resulted in cash sales from the first minute that it opened for business.

I would say that getting a truck to sell food has been a big adventure! Miami Trailer was a nice part of the experience, Susan was very quick to tell somethings she has done in the past on trucks and looks at your needs to help formulate a plan. Houston, Tx has some very silly laws, we missed a couple of details, but of no fault to Miami Trailer. Business is going well and hope to buy another truck within a year. I would also say to up and comer food truckers, listen to Susan, they have been building trucks for a while and have seen what you are asking for. Price always plays a factor in buying a truck and it will be hard to beat Miami Trailer's price for what you get in the long run!
